About Marcus Sullivan
Born and raised in Salem, Massachusetts, and with years of experience behind him, Marcus Sullivan is our editor in chief at MA Betting Hub. He’s been with us since the beginning of our venture, effectively being the man behind the voice and passion of our platform.
His role as editor-in-chief is to fuel and push meaningful, helpful, and reliable content for our readers and for anyone looking to answer some questions about the industry.
Who is Marcus Sullivan?
Sullivan characterizes himself as two things: a writer and a Boston Red Sox fan. His love of writing came hand in hand with his love for the beloved baseball team. When he was an early teen, he wrote fictional interviews with players on the team in the 90s, and although he’s retired from the fictional world he’s still very much involved in sports.
His favorite sport moment was when he caught a homerun ball during a Boston Red Sox game in Fenway Park when he was just 8 years old. The ball was batted by none other than legendary Red Sox player José Canseco and is now a desk memento for Sullivan in his office.
Education
Sullivan’s love for writing made him study languages and literature and he graduated with an arts degree from the University of New Hampshire, which he followed with a master’s in sports management. Although he didn’t pursue his career in sports management, his precise understanding of sport is a key part of the chain in the mechanism of our platform.
Personal Achievements
Even though he retreated from fiction writing, Sullivan has published a few poetry books over the years and he keeps in direct touch with the sport by passing on his knowledge to the youths of a baseball little league team in Salem which he coaches.
